| TENNESSEE: Head coach Mike Mularkey is fully committed to centering his offense around a smashmouth running game, which was reflected by the Titans' offseason moves. RBs DeMarco Murray and rookie Derrick Henry will share the workload behind a revamped offensive line. A significant improvement should be expected from QB Marcus Mariota, who looked more ready as a rookie than many expected. The defense for this team is a question mark, but there are some playmakers in place with CB Jason McCourty in the secondary. | | OAKLAND: The time for the Raiders to return to the playoffs seems to finally be here. QB Derek Carr had a breakout year in his sophomore season, and his offensive line and receiving corps are improving right alongside him. LB Khalil Mack has become one of the NFL's best defensive players, leading a pass-rushing unit that's both young and versatile. Additions in the defensive backfield, including CB Sean Smith and S Reggie Nelson, give Oakland one of the more well-rounded defensive units in the entire league. |
