| GREEN BAY: The biggest addition to the Packers lineup will be a player who was already on the roster, WR Jordy Nelson. Back from injury, QB Aaron Rodgers' favorite target gives the Green Bay offense a chance to return to its glory days of 2014. Their receivers were struggling to create separation late last year and that should no longer be the case in 2016. DT Mike Daniels is a force up front, and if defensive coordinator Dom Capers can get LB Clay Matthews more involved in the pass rush, the Packers will be better for it. | | KANSAS CITY: The Chiefs' biggest off-season accomplishment was re-signing their defensive stars, a group that includes S Eric Berry and LB Tamba Hali. The one who got away was CB Sean Smith, and his absence will put additional pressure on second-year CB Marcus Peters. Kansas City's offensive line was bad last year, which is what prompted the team to overpay for OT Mitchell Schwartz. RB Jamaal Charles must stay healthy for the Chiefs this season, as he is really the only chance this offense has of putting up enough points to make any type of extended postseason run. |
